Without lettering
There are things you leave out because you forgot them. And there are things you leave out because they don't belong.

There are things you leave out because you forgot them.
And there are things you leave out because they don't belong.
Advertising lettering belongs to the second category.
A Tesla is form, line, calm.
Lettering on it feels like a price tag on a painting – technically possible, but wrong.
We don't stick anything on it.
Not out of negligence. Out of respect for what the car is – and for whoever drives it.
No lettering means:
You get in and it feels like it's yours.
Not like company property with a hotline on the door.
There's something else behind it, too.
We want to bring the models to the people – S, 3, X and Y.
Not as possessions held onto for years, but as something you share and swap.
Sometimes one for the city.
Sometimes another for the family, the Alps, the long stretch.
Depending on what's needed at the time.
Whoever rents doesn't always drive the same car.
They drive whatever fits the moment – and leave the car for the next person just as they found it: no lettering, no noise, just Tesla.
Some details sell loudly.
Others work because they're missing.
The missing lettering is one of them.
